Women's Basketball Coach - Stacie McCary
Stacie McCary serves as the campus nurse, having earned her BSN after studying Bible/Theology and Missions - Nursing at ABC. As a student, she played Warrior basketball for two years, 2006-2008. When the opportunity arose to coach the Lady Warriors, she stepped up to become assistant coach and then head coach in January 2024
Coach McCary views Warrior athletics as ministry—“not only in the character development of the athletes through one-on-one interactions and encouragement to draw closer to the Lord, but also teaching them how to exhibit those traits in daily life and on the court, and even with strangers they may meet wherever they are. People are always watching.”
Above all, Coach McCary says her desire is “to glorify God in practice and games with attitude, work ethic, perseverance, encouragement and any other attributes that separate us from the world's philosophies.”
